SPSS and Statistical Computation

What is SPSS?

SPSS, or the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, was bought by IBM in 2009 and has continued to develop one of the most powerful and utilized statistical software packages available to communication researchers. This proprietary software tends to be quite expensive and often depends on the relationship your individual college or university has with IBM. For more information on the student version of SPSS you can visit the IBM SPSS website.
